In April TADWA’s Bunbury Workshop received a Cold Saw and MIG Welder from PEACH.Personnel Employed At Alcoa Charity Help (PEACH) is a trust fund funded and administered by Western Australian Alcoa employees. 1000 employees contribute to PEACH from their pay packet. Since it began in 1979, they have raised more than $3million.
TADWA Bunbury has experienced phenomenal growth in the past two years, which has seen a quadrupling of individual manufacturing projects. The Cold Saw and MIG Welder will help with the increase of Individual manufacturing projects. The workshop previously had a Cold Saw that was 10 years old and wear and tear had impacted its efficiency in the production process.

The new MIG Welder will help produce ramps, handrails and other home modifications for customers across the South West. A huge thank you to PEACH for their contribution to TADWA, which will make it possible for more people to do what is important to them.
