We can also specify, instal and support the latest in home automation and wellness monitoring.

We know that staying in your own home is important to you, and TADWA can help you to do just that. And the best part is that when the time to sell eventually comes, a quality bathroom or kitchen renovation will actually increase your home’s sale value.

When you don’t need modifications but you do need a bit of help, many kinds of equipment can be used to make life just that little bit easier. A shower chair and a hand held shower help you feel more confident and a pendant or other device can let your care network know you need a hand.

Complex Home Modifications

At TADWA our experienced team of Complex Home Modifications Occupational Therapists and Building Consultants are specialists in complex home modifications. We can assist people and their families in identifying goals, barriers and limitations that impact on safety and independence. By working in partnership with the person and their family, we can design and provide solutions that can be developed which can then be used to improve access and achieve greater independence within their home environment.

This way of working can be applied to existing homes or in designing a new home to meet a person’s long term needs. It is really important that people have the choice to live in their own home as long as possible, and find ways to make their home accessible and safe for themselves, their families and support staff.

Our team has the knowledge of the Building Code, local government and relevant legislation. We can provide guidance and advice on the application of Australian Standards such as AS 1428.1, so that during design and construction, a compliant solution is achieved.

To access our service we provide support under the National Disability Insurance Scheme ( NDIS) and Commonwealth Home care funding. Please contact us.
