City of Rockingham’s Subsidy Scheme

City of Rockingham now offers three types of subsidy schemes to residents with low-income pensioner or concession cards. Eligible items include wheelchairs, ramps, grab rails, over the toilet frames, handheld showers, personal computers and more!

  1. Home Modification or Assistive Equipment
    Offers subsidies of up to $100* to assist seniors to manage everyday tasks and remain longer in their own home.
    ID required: Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card.
    Age restriction: 60+
  2. Information Technology
    Offers subsidies of up to $100 *to assist seniors to become more connected with friends, family, resources and information.
    ID required: Health Care Concession Card (including Veterans Affairs), Pensioner Concession Card.
    Age restriction: 60+
  3. Safety
    Offers subsidies of up to $100* to assist adults to make their homes safer and more secure.
    ID required: Health Care Concession Card (including Veterans Affairs), Pensioner Concession Card.
    Age restriction: 18+

Hillman
Karnup
Port Kennedy
Rockingham
Safety Bay
Shoalwater
Singleton
Waikiki
Warnbro

Applications for the subsidy Scheme can be downloaded hereand sent to  customer@rockingham.wa.gov.au or via mail to PO Box 2142 Rockingham DC WA 6967.
