Technology for Ageing & Disability WA
In 1984 a group of Telecom engineers discovered that people with disabilities had difficulty using the rotary dial telephones of the day. They applied their technical skills to the problem and came up with a better solution. From that day forward TADWA has been delivering innovative solutions to help people live safer, better quality independent lives.
Thirty four years later, our motto: "Helping you do what's important to you" embodies that original principle - now greatly expanded to include home modifications, technology support, custom solutions, recreation and mobility and therapy services.
Our People
Our people are the brain, hands and heart of TADWA.
TADWA is driven forward by a diverse team of over 90 full time staff, part time and volunteers - all with a passion to improve the lives of the people we serve. Our Occupational Therapists are at the centre of our customers' journey with us, working closely with teams of skilled technicians including plumbers, tilers, welders, carpenters, pavers, electronics, robotics and installers.
