TADWA is delighted to announce a new collaboration to provide home automation solutions to the disability and aged care sectors across Western Australia.
Western Australian home automations expert, Intelligent Home, will be working with TADWA occupational therapists to deliver advanced home automation products and services to help people live better quality, more independent lives.
According to TADWA CEO, Steve Pretzel, Intelligent Home was the logical home automation partner for TADWA: “TADWA has pioneered many innovative technology solutions over our 35 year history, and the area of home automation is emerging as one of the most significant ways of improving independence and dignity while reducing the ongoing cost of care. The team at Intelligent Home are really at the forefront of technology in this space, and they’ve developed a broad product mix to suit many of the applications our customers are needing.
“This collaboration will really expand our capabilities in this area, and will enable us to deliver better outcomes to more people by understanding their circumstances, discovering what is important to them, and then matching this to the appropriate automation solution to improve their daily living.
“I’m excited about what this means to our customers and how we can adapt their homes to help them to do the things that are important to them.”
Intelligent Home Assistive Technology Manager, Doug Crockett, is equally optimistic about the collaboration: “By combining our expertise in home automation with TADWA’s deep understanding of the needs of older people and people with disability, we will be able to deliver some exceptional outcomes for people.”
