TADWA is one of only 21 organisations to receive a share of the WA State Government’s $385,000 Innovation Vouchers program.
The program rewards exceptional Western Australians who have developed innovative products, technologies or services by providing funding to access professional skills, services or commercial knowledge.
TADWA’s funding, for our appliance voice-control system, will enable us to partner with Innovation Central Perth at Curtin University to further develop the core functionality and develop a market feasibility and commercialisation strategy.
In announcing the awards, Innovation and ICT Minister Don Punch said: “As both Minister for Innovation and Minister for Disability Services, it is fantastic to see innovators using technology to provide greater choice and control to people with disability on this year’s list of recipients.”
